Dining room

Our Story

Cooking with restraint

A small dining room for seasonal cooking, quiet conversation, and the pleasure of staying awhile.

"The best meals do not ask to be remembered. They give you a little more time with the people who brought you here."

Chef & Founder

Elena Vann

After a decade in kitchens across Europe and Southeast Asia, Elena returned to Bangkok to build a restaurant around the ingredients she missed most.

Maison Ombre is her expression of modern Thai hospitality: precise, generous, and never in a hurry.

Kitchen

Season

We cook only what the land gives us this week.

Craft

Every element made in-house, by hand.

Time

One seating. No rush. The evening is yours.

Through the years

A slow beginning

  1. 2024

    The first table

Maison Ombre opens with one seasonal menu and a room designed for lingering.

  2. 2025

    A new kitchen

The team moves into a larger open kitchen, keeping the dining room intimate at twenty seats.

  3. 2025

    Recognition

Our first year is marked by a place on the city's short list of new restaurants to watch.

  4. Today

    Twenty seats

We continue to cook slowly, source carefully, and make each evening feel personal.
